UT Innovation and Technology Commercialization Presentations

Location: AT&T Conference Center, 1900 University Avenue, Amphitheater

This session will cover presentations from the Office of Technology Commercialization and the Austin Technology Incubator. OTC will present 5-10 technologies with commercial potential and ATI will present 5-10 companies that are ready for funding.

Featured Luncheon - The State of Entrepreneurship at UT

Location: AT&T Conference Center, 1900 University Avenue, Salon C

President William Powers Jr., Dean Thomas W. Gilligan of the McCombs School of Business and Dean Gregory L. Fenves of the Cockrell School of Engineering will cover The State of Entrepreneurship at UT Austin. Rob Adams, the Director of Texas Venture Labs, and Richard A. Miller, the recently named Chief Commercialization Officer at the university, will also speak.

Texas Venture Labs Donors and Space Recognition

Location: AT&T Conference Center, 1900 University Avenue, Level M1

Join us for dessert to recognize the founding contributors of Texas Venture Labs and to dedicate our new space.

Texas Venture Labs Portfolio Companies and Success Stories

Location: AT&T Conference Center, 1900 University Avenue, Amphitheater

The afternoon session will cover new ventures from Texas Venture Labs that are ready for funding as well as updates on existing portfolio companies. Approximately 10 companies will be presenting.

 

4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Keynote Speaker and Reception - Entrepreneurs, Universities and Venture Capital

Location: AT&T Conference Center, 1900 University Avenue, Amphitheater

Our keynote speaker will be Bazaarvoice CEO Brett Hurt. He will be joined by one of his investors to share their thoughts on entrepreneurs, universities and venture capital. Following their remarks, there will be a cocktail reception in the AT&T courtyard.
