Associate Professor Lillian Mills was elected President-Elect of the American Taxation Association (ATA), a section of the American Accounting Association. Her one-year term as President begins August 2009. She will direct affairs, appoint ATA committees and serve on the AAA Council. Read more.

Dr. William W. Cooper and Sara Martinez Tucker Named Presidential Citation Award Recipients
The University of Texas at Austin selected McCombs faculty member William W. Cooper and Sara Martinez Tucker, MBA ’79, to receive the prestigious Presidential Citation for 2008. The Presidential Citation was created in 1979 to recognize the extraordinary contributions of individuals who personify the University’s commitment to the task of transforming lives.
